Roslyn Ramsay Verity is a Canadian Painter and Portrait Artist residing in Ontario. As a Watercolour and Pastel Artist, she has painted over two hundred commissioned Portraits and Paintings for corporate clients, such as Custom Leather Canada Ltd., JS Redpath Mining Ltd., Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, and private collections throughout Canada and the United States. |

As a landscape Artist, her love of nature and people produced a series of paintings, "Beyond Red Nails and Lipstick" and received an OAC Exhibition Assistance Grant to exhibit from Laurentian University Museum and Art Centre. The series explored the interaction between people and the environment and challenged the viewer to look beyond. |

Through Pastel and Watercolour; her waterlilies and water landscapes explore her interest in design and colour patterns contrasted to the surrounding reflective and transparent depths of water. Female forms are sometimes interwoven within these images and invite you to look beneath the surface. |

Nature inspired a series of five Loon images sensitively designed to express their flowing movements and tells their story within the lines. A set of Limited Edition Prints of this series was produced and signed by the artist. As one of four professional art instructors, she participated in the "Art through Curious Eyes" project at Woodland Park Child Care Centre; exhibited at the Cambridge Centre For The Arts and the Childrens Museum, Kitchener; supported through the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Ministry of Culture.
